Tutorial - How to check if the liquid contact indicator of your iPhone is activated
If your iPhone has never been in contact with water, it may be that the chip allows Apple to see if your iPhone takes damage on water. Indeed, all Apple devices has what are called liquid contact indicators (LCI) which are activated on contact with water. Find out how to check if your humidity sensors were activated.
Do not hide if your iPhone has fallen into water or has been in contact with water, your LCI (Liquid Contact Indicator) is can be activated. Both say immediately in case of water damage, you are not covered by the Apple hardware warranty, and therefore an indicator has been activated.
When these indicators are activated, they take a bright red color. Then, it indicates that your device has been in contact with water.
By default, the color of the moisture sensors is generally white or silver when there is no water damage.
